Peace Action-Wisconsin is a peace and justice organization which works for a world where human needs are met, the environment is preserved, and the threats of war and nuclear weapons have been abolished. We are committed to non-violence as a way of life and offer our members opportunities for education, lobbying and public witness.
Voces de la Frontera is a Wisconsin nonprofit that educates workers about their employment rights and organizes to protect and improve the quality of life for low-wage and immigrant workers. We promote grassroots leadership and community and workplace organizing as a strategy to achieve our goals. We operate workers’ centers in Milwaukee and Racine.

In 1973 a group of office workers in Boston got together to talk about issues which had no name, sexual harassment, work/family challenges, and pay equity. From this beginning 9to5 emerged as the national organization dedicated to putting working women’s issues on the public agenda. 9to5′s constituents are low-wage women, women in traditionally female jobs, and those who’ve experienced any form of discrimination. Membership is open to all. Now in its fourth decade, 9to5′s mission is to strengthen women’s ability to win economic justice.
Students United for Immigrant Rights
Our purpose is to educate the community on current immigration issues. We encourage interested students and community members to become involved in immigrant rights work to further enhance their understanding through various activities such as: Workshops related to higher education (the DREAM Act, In-state tuition for undocumented students & drivers licenses), education on immigrant rights and current events

The Milwaukee Network for Social Change promotes responsible living through participation in direct action at a community level. We believe that as members of the Milwaukee community we share in the responsibility of promoting the ideas of neighborhood partnership, self-sustainability through the re-distribution of excess goods, and fostering positive social relationships that enable the open discussion of cultural, political, environmental and social matters.

The Milwaukee chapter of Students For A Democratic Society (SDS), represents the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. SDS is a nationwide, non-hierarchical student organization dedicated to increasing democracy in all aspects of common life.

A multi-racial, interfaith organization committed to addressing justice issues that have an impact on the community and on the members of MICAH congregations. MICAH’s goal is to empower people to act together in pursuit of justice, and to organize so that people of many traditions can come together to speak with one voice for justice.
Good Jobs Livable Neighborhoods
The purpose of the Good Jobs and Livable Neighborhoods Coalition is to promote accountable development policy and practice through enhanced civic participation and transparency in the development process. Our membership includes labor unions, social justice, environmental, and religious organizations. We are committed to ensuring that the community benefits from public investment in development projects. Our vision is equity in the development of our region, and an economy that works for all.
The key areas of concern that are addressed in the community benefits model are: job access, job standards, affordable housing, environmental responsibility through green-building techniques, public open space, and energy efficiency.
